- Bank statements — last 3 months, bank-stamped (no passbook copies)
- ITR acknowledgements — last 2 years (or Form 16)
Add on, by work status
- Employed: 3 months' salary slips, contract & leave-sanction letter
- Self-employed: company registration (with GST) & business statements
- Retired: pension statements (3 months)
- Student: enrolment certificate & NOC from institution
- Homemaker/Unemployed: sponsor's financials (+ own statement if any)
