One wrong IBAN, purpose code or reference can delay your admission by weeks. We manage the entire remittance β verified, tracked, and confirmed to the university β so your money arrives right, on time.
University tuition, your blocked account (Sperrkonto) deposit and living-cost transfers β verified, correctly coded and tracked end-to-end.
Semester fees, application & enrolment charges β sent with the right reference so the university matches it instantly.
Coordinated directly with your provider (Fintiba / Expatrio / Coracle etc.) so the exact amount & reference clear and the account activates.
Maintenance and other transfers sent under the correct purpose code, with TCS handled cleanly.
Banks are AD-authorised, but to reach a foreign beneficiary they route the wire through their correspondent / intermediary banks. Each one levies its own charge β and if any transaction detail is incomplete or wrong, that deduction is recovered from you, the remitter. So the amount you send and the amount that actually reaches the university can differ β and you often find out only when the confirmation letter is missing or the provider asks for more. (Confirmed in banks' own published fee schedules, e.g. Axis Bank.)
Before you pay via an unverified agent, a random remittance site, or your own YouTube research β see the mistakes that cost students time, money and admissions.
One small typing mistake β and tracing the payment can take 20β60 days.
The university can't tell whose payment it is β money arrives, but the credit is never allocated.
Pay via a random operator and the blocked-account provider later asks for bank statements, source of funds, relationship proof β the account stays inactive until then.
Intermediary banks in the SWIFT route can deduct β¬20β50 β less than required is credited and the confirmation is delayed.
The rate on screen isn't the real remittance rate β FX markup, processing charge, GST and wire charges apply, and you find out much later.
Outside an RBI-Authorised Dealer (bank or registered forex company), a "cheap rate" promise leaves you with no legal recourse if something goes wrong.
Education (S0305) and maintenance (S1301) are different codes. A wrong code can get the transaction held for extra verification.
A wrong category can cut excess TCS upfront β or the credit won't match Form 26AS when you file your ITR.
If the payment doesn't reflect by the last date, admission can be cancelled β universities don't grant extensions.
Self-research + self-troubleshooting eats time β the later the blocked account opens, the more your visa appointment is at risk.
Not just a transfer β verification, documentation, follow-up and confirmation, all from one place.
IBAN, SWIFT and account details are verified multiple times before anything is submitted.
Your application / reference number is attached properly, so the university matches it immediately.
Education or maintenance β whichever applies β is used correctly. No guessing.
Your TCS category is flagged before paying β no surprises at tax time.
Amount, reference and account details are matched exactly to your blocked-account provider's requirement.
After paying, we follow up with the university until "Payment Received" is confirmed.
The process starts early enough that your confirmation is ready before your visa appointment.
If a payment gets stuck, we coordinate with the bank / provider / university at once β you never struggle alone.
Every case is checked against this year's updated rules β not an outdated blog or old YouTube video.
Transfer, verification, documentation, follow-up and confirmation β all handled together.
Two small details that quietly cause big delays β we set them correctly upfront.
Using the wrong code can trigger extra RBI/bank verification and hold your transaction. We select the applicable code before initiating.
The correct category is flagged before payment so TCS is deducted right and reflects properly in your ITR β no excess cut, no mismatch.
Reach the forex desk; we review your university/provider requirements & deadline.
Beneficiary details multi-checked, correct purpose code & TCS category set.
Sent through an RBI-authorised dealer with the right reference & amount.
We chase the confirmation with the university/provider until it's confirmed.
Before you send university fees or your blocked-account deposit β make one call. We'll make sure it lands correctly, on time, and confirmed.
IndoGerman Education facilitates education-related foreign remittances only through RBI-Authorised Dealers (banks / registered forex companies) in line with current RBI & FEMA rules.
